Notes: After an uncommonly dry, almost arid 2017-18 winter, with minimum precipitation & practically no snow, most vineyards in the Beqaa Valley struggled to survive, with some growers reporting a 60% drop in yield. Summer 2018 was equally strange… a moderate climate with large diurnal range where temperatures rarely reached 30 C & dropped to 13 - 16 C by night, so the grapes were able to reach full maturity white retaining wonderful acidity.

The 2018 Sauvignon Blanc is a single vineyard release, hand-harvested from the Rayak area in the Central Beqaa at an altitude of about 950m above sea level. It’s one of our freshest vintages, offering a clear herbaceous / herbal profile of green pepper & thyme accompanied by pronounced citrus aromas of lime, grapefruit & pomelo with hints of kiwi, passion fruit & white peach.
